World Book Day
It is ‘World Book Day’ next Thursday 7th March and all the pupils are invited to dress in pyjamas or as a book character. We will be running a range of competitions to celebrate and would like to invite all parents/carers to come in at the start of the day (8:55am), to read with their child between 9:00am and 9:30am. You are more than welcome to dress up too if you wish!
As of Monday 4th March we will be launching new menus at lunchtime. This is a result of on-going discussions with pupils and parents, and will take account of popular choices. Each day there will be three choices available:
1. Hot Main Meal
2. Filled Jacket Potatoes
3. Deli Bar
As part of this, Menus will also be available to view on the school website.
KS2 School Meal – Taster Session
We would like to invite KS2 parents and pupils to sample some of our school meals on Wednesday 6th March, at 3:30pm. Please collect your children as usual (3:20pm) and head over to the school dining hall were Miss Lear and our Chair of Governors will greet you.
We still have a vacancy for a parent governor at school. If you are interested or would like some additional information please see the school office.
Our PTA will be selling raffle tickets during the next two weeks for a chance to win Fairtrade / World Book Day hampers. They are also looking to organise a ‘Fairtrade Tasting Morning’ the week beginning 04/03/19. More details to follow.
