The Government is asking parents to keep children at home whenever possible – schools remain open only for children who need to attend.

Letter to Year 3 and Year 4 Parents/Carers RE MSE Commando Camp

Dear Parent/Carer,

Commando Camp

Calling all Year 3 and Year 4 pupils! You are invited to come back to school to attend a two week summer school to keep your body and mind fit and healthy.

It is an amazing opportunity to work with the Military School of Education to become super sharp again after lockdown and put your skills, agility, brains and team-work to the test!

When will it run?
Commando Camp will run from Monday 20th until Friday 24th July for the first week and from Monday 27th until Friday 31st July for the second week (this is the first two weeks of the Summer Holidays).

What time?
Registration will be from 8:30am every morning and pick-up will be at 3pm at the car-park gates.

What will I need?
You need warm, clean and comfy clothes with lots of water or juice to drink throughout the day and a rain-coat in case it pours down! If it is hot you will need your sun-cream on and a cap or sun-hat. You will also need a packed lunch every day and snacks to keep you going – it is an action-packed fortnight of problem-solving and physical activity.

How do I sign up?
Every child needs to have a registration form completed in full before acceptance onto the Commando Camp can happen. This is an externally ran club and all contact details and medical information has to be up-to-date and fully completed or your son/daughter/ward will sadly be unable to attend.

Where do I get the registration form?
There is a form available to download on our school website or you can pick a form up from the school office. You could also request one to be sent out to you.

Please contact the school office this week to secure your place.

We hope your Year 3 or Year 4 child has the best time!

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Peace
Headteacher
