Dear Parent/Carer,

As Christmas quickly approaches, it is good to be able to bring you up to date with a number of successful events, we have recently held at school.

Christmas Fayre
Many thanks to all those who attended our Christmas Fayre, especially the PTA for all their hard work organising it. The grand total raised was £1130.00, a truly fantastic effort!

Maths & Reading visits
Thanks to all those parents who visited recently to read and complete maths challenges with their children. It was lovely to see so many of you in school as the pupils really look forward to these opportunities.

School Choir
Our pupils recently sang at Dundoran Residential Home and at ‘Community Carols’ at St James’ Church. Both events were a great success and enjoyed by all.

Christmas Performances
Thanks to all those who have attended the Christmas Performances in school this week. The staff and pupils work extremely hard to prepare these and from your reactions I know how much you enjoyed the results!

Christmas ‘Shoe Boxes’
A big well done to Years 3 & 4 for preparing boxes of presents for children at Claire House.

A Christmas Present from the Co-op
Our thanks go to the Co-op for providing every child with a selection box and book for Christmas. I hope you enjoy them!

• School finishes this Friday at 2:30pm for Christmas break

• Pupils are not in school on Monday 7th January as this is an INSET day

• Pupils return to school on Tuesday 8th January at the normal time of 8:55am

Finally, may I wish you all a happy and safe Christmas break.

Yours sincerely,

Mr P Crossley
