Year 4 had a brilliant trip to GooseMeadow Farm on March 24. They were able to see where crops came from, how they were grown and harvested, where they were stored, they planted beans, and they even ground some wheat into flour.

Farmers Lisa and Kate from The Country Trust were so generous with their skills and their time - all our children had an amazing experience.

This visit also tied in with our Career Related Learning plans - we try to show our children many different career and job opportunities to broaden their thinking, so this day, hopefully, inspired some young farmers.
